How to Connect Shopify to Amazon for Automatic Fulfillment Using MCF / FBA
If you have a Shopify store and Amazon Seller Central account then you can automatically fulfill your Shopify orders with your Amazon inventory.
This is a quick setup guide to integrate that workflow using Order Automator, an official best in class connector app for Amazon Multi Channel Fulfillment (MCF).
2026 updates:
-
Amazon is giving 35% off on MCF fees for orders imported through TikTok Shop. To capitalize on this use Order Automator or another app that connects to TikTok Shop, import TikTok orders and have them fulfilled by Amazon MCF using an official partner app like Order Automator. The discount applies automaticaly in Seller Central.
-
Amazon has a promotion to save 15% on outbound fulfillment fees + the ability to earn up to $1 in FBA credit per unit shipped. See Preferred Pricing here
Quick Steps
-
Install the Order Automator Amazon MCF connector app. This will allow you to sync inventory, create Amazon orders, and update tracking information in Shopify, on autopilot.
-
In Order Automator go to Integrations > Amazon then follow the steps to connect an Amazon marketplace.
-
After authorizing connection, a location called FBA [country] | Order Automator is automatically created.
-
For any products you want fulfilled by Amazon, go to the product's admin page in Shopify and assign the new FBA location to that product.
-
Back in Order Automator, confirm the SKU Map and Shipping Map are good as default, or edit if necessary.
-
Enable the feature. Now inventory will start syncing and you can request fulfillment on Shopify orders.
-
π Go to Shopify Settings > Shipping and Delivery. Make sure the new location is listed in Fulfillment locations in your shipping profiles. If not, add that to make sure customers can checkout the product from their location.
- Now you can manually request fulfillment of products you assigned to the FBA location, on the order details page. To automate fulfillment requests, go to Order Automations > Auto Fulfill in Order Automator. A new Fulfill Rule was automatically created for you when you enabled the Amazon feature, either enable that or modify it to match the orders you want fulfilled.
π Your Shopify store can be based anywhere and connect to any of Amazonβs 11 MCF marketplaces. This allows you to fulfill international orders from inventory stored closer to your customers, with domestic fulfillment in supported countries and regional fulfillment across the EU.
Notes
See the Amazon feature for Order Automator to see which Amazon marketplaces have MCF available + the list of options.
Unbranded packing
Most Amazon marketplaces have these options available (you'll see them in the UI after step 2):
- Ship packages in blank boxes
- Block Amazon Logistics as a shipping carrier
Use these options to ship without Amazon branding, for example if you're fulfilling orders that came from Walmart marketplace.
Bonus Feature: Delivery Badge
If you connect the Amazon United States marketplace you'll see the option to enable the Amazon Delivery Badge.
This gives you a widget you can put on product pages to show accurate delivery times by zip code:
For details, conversion improvement stats, and setup see Show Real Delivery Times on Shopify Product Pages to Improve Conversion Rate.
