What's New with Order Automator

Some highlights from the first half of the year:

• New custom notification template editor: Big update to the way you can send custom order notifications, use variables, style emails, highly customizable

• Use Order Automator to send emails from your domain: Set custom order notifications to send from your domain, using your branding

• Use variables in tag rules: Add dynamic tags to orders and customers, based on order data, using tag variables

• Attach a PO to notifications: Attach a PDF of the purchase order, just like you see in the Shopify order details page

• Various new rule options: We want you to feel confident you can tag and organize orders however you want. If there is a data point our app doesn't track, we do our best to add it on request

• Various UI improvements: Nothing too big here yet, mostly improving details + making the UX better for newer users

• Backend optimization + performance increase: Boring stuff from your side but keeping the backend processor up to date and improving the system helps make things easier and faster for you

Coming Soon to Order Automator

Sneak peak at the roadmap for the coming months:

• Order logging: Look up logs for any order to see order actions (and reason for in-actions)

• More custom notification updates: Smart filter to only show items that matched all rule conditions, more customization and trigger options

• Daily Jobs: Run jobs every day, week, month, etc. This will replace the Monitor feature with a more powerful, customizable tool

• More rule options: More events, more actions, and ability to customize in the app instead of reaching out to support

• Add products to order: Configure products to add to the order post checkout, based on order details

• Amazon feature updates: We've been talking to users, getting feedback and will be doing a project to improve and add more functionality to the Amazon feature

• Faster bulk jobs: We're going to add more customization when running a batch of jobs in bulk, lowering the processing time per order so your jobs finish faster

• More UI improvements: We've collected feedback + analyzed UX designs to map out upgrades to make a better experience for you

• More feature tutorials: Learn more about what the app can do for you, easier guides for how the features work and what is their potential

• Dabbling with AI: We've been experimenting with AI in other / personal projects, will be looking at how we can add value to Order Automator using AI
