Here's a quick way to add more value on every new customer order in your Shopify store:
💡 Show a custom message on the Thank You page.
Setting this up takes just a few minutes but provides endless gains in customer engagement.
I'll show you how to do this for free with Order Automator, and give 10 examples to get you started.

Summary of the steps
- Install Order Automator and select any plan (this feature is included in the Free plan)
- Navigate to the Thank You Page feature in the app
- Add a custom message, then Save
- In Shopify admin go to Online Store -> Themes -> Customize
- Navigate to Checkout -> Thank You page
- Click the Apps icon to add an embedded app block, add the Thank You Message block
- Now you'll see the message from step 3 showing on your Thank You page. Click save to activate it so it shows to customers after they place a new order

10 Examples to get customer engagement
1. Invite customers to join you on social media
Add a link to your main social media page (or all your pages) to gain extra fans from your customer base.
2. Give a discount code to share with friends
Get people excited to talk about your brand, offer a standard discount code they can share.
3. Send good vibes
A simple positive message in your brand's voicde can generate an extra smile to your customers. Who doesn't love to gift a smile. 🙂
4. Invite customers to join your rewards program
Customers that have a loyalty account with you are more engaged and ready to spend more. Invite them to your program.
5. Link to product resources
Share guides, YouTube videos, or documents related to your products or the lifestyle of your customers.
6. Announce an event
Tell people what's going on, any cool news.
7. Invite customers to join your referral program
Build an army of affiliates by getting your customers to join your referral program and send new sales your way.
8. Collect user generated content
Think of ways you can entice customers to post pictures and videos online using your product.
9. Share FAQ
